這次郡宇願設計師參加國立成功大學主辦的台南綠園道－國際交流工作坊，成大、日本女子大學、千葉大學、泰國蒙庫國王科技大學、清邁大學、印尼大學的師生混編分組。
我們的提案獲得 Design in Action Award，從台南綠園道現地訪談、關鍵字歸納到方案篩選，完整走過一輪設計流程。
這幾年我們陸續跑了幾場這樣的場合。前一次是北科 MIT 城市科學實驗室，看的是資料怎麼進入都市尺度的判斷。這次回到綠園道，用的是最原始的方法：走進現場問人。
從公共空間的無障礙，回到住宅的通用設計
帶回設計桌上的，其實是幾個很日常卻關鍵的尺寸。輪椅與助行器要能在走道轉身，室內外的高低差能不能收掉，夜裡從臥室到浴室那段路有沒有光，扶手裝在哪一側才順手。這些在公共空間叫無障礙，回到住宅，我們習慣稱它通用設計。不是為長輩另做一套設計，而是讓一個家能陪一個人住得最久。
高雄、台南、屏東的老屋翻新，越來越多是為長輩而做
高雄、台南、屏東的老屋翻新案，我們近年遇到越來越多這樣的委託。屋主重新整理房子的理由，常常不是想換風格，而是家裡多了一位需要被照顧的人。
這類案子的施工順序和一般翻新不一樣。地坪高低差、浴室防水、開關與插座高度，都得在水電進場前定案，後面再改幾乎等於重做一次。高雄的屋主如果房子屋齡夠，可以先確認 2026 老宅延壽補助用不用得上，把止水、管線更新這些非做不可的項目先排進去。剩下的預算怎麼分先後，我們整理在老屋翻新預算那篇。
想為家人調整空間，可以這樣開始
家裡若正打算為長輩調整格局，或是老屋翻新想一次把安全動線做進去，建議在丈量前就把使用者的狀況講清楚：目前的行動能力、未來三到五年可能的變化、主要照顧者是誰。這幾件事會直接影響格局、開口寬度與收納高度的判斷。

Our designer took part in the Tainan Green Corridor International Workshop, hosted by National Cheng Kung University. Students and faculty from NCKU, Japan Women’s University, Chiba University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Chiang Mai University, and Universitas Indonesia were mixed into cross-institutional teams.
Our team’s proposal received the Design in Action Award. We worked through a full design cycle: on-site interviews along the Tainan Green Corridor, keyword synthesis, and idea screening.
What we brought back to the design table was a handful of very ordinary but decisive dimensions. Whether a wheelchair or walker can turn in a hallway. Whether the level change between indoors and out can be eliminated. Whether there is light along the route from bedroom to bathroom at night. Which side the grab bar should go on to feel natural in the hand. In public space this is called accessibility. In a home, we tend to call it universal design: not a separate scheme built for older residents, but a house that can accompany one person into old age.
In our renovation work across Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Pingtung, we have taken on more and more of these commissions in recent years. When owners decide to rework a house, the reason is often not a change of style. It is that someone in the family now needs care.
